Interpreting Poetry: The Works of Shel Silverstein

Interpreting Poetry: The Works of Shel Silverstein

Let's learn about oral interpretation - but what is it?! Is it acting? Is it public speaking? Neither! Oral Interpretation is a way for students to read and understand different literary forms and then convey that understanding to an audience by using their voice and body. In oral interpretation, you portray the thoughts and feelings of someone else. In this class, Our resident acting Host, Cheryl, will lead students through the works of Shel Silverstein, and as a group we will interpret them to the class
